Chrysanthemum indicum
Baby chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium, also written Chrysanthemum sinense) is an upright plant of the daisy family that lives two years or more, softly white-haired throughout, with lobed and toothed leaves, grey-white beneath, and heads at the shoot tips and leaf axils. Vietnamese growers set it alongside the smaller kim cúc, Chrysanthemum indicum, whose wholly golden heads are one to one and a half centimetres across. Both are grown for their flowers around Nghĩa Trai, Nhật Tân and Tế Tiêu, raised from stem cuttings in May and June, picked in rounds from September, then pressed and dried.
