Tadehagi triquetrum
Tadehagi (Tadehagi triquetrum, formerly Desmodium triquetrum) is a subshrub up to 3 m tall, its single narrow leaflets 3.5-20 cm long and carried on a winged stalk, its pea flowers pink, red or blue, its jointed pods clothed in soft yellowish or whitish hairs. It grows on many soils in evergreen and semi-deciduous forest, beside watercourses, on rice-field bunds, and in savanna and grassland from sea level to about 1500 m, and is found from India and Sri Lanka through Burma, Thailand and Indo-China to southern China, and south through Malesia. In northern Thailand the aerial parts are simmered into a decoction, and in Vietnam the leaves are infused.
